Review: LANEIGE Moisturizing Foam Cleanser

Over the past month, I've been trying the Moisturizing Foam Cleanser from 'Laneige,' a South Korean beauty brand. This product can be purchased through Sephora Canada, and it is listed for $29.00.

This product definitely has its advantages and disadvantages.
For starters, I think it's a great foaming cleanser and it does exactly what it claims to do - it cleanses! After using the cleanser, my face feels squeaky clean.  If you use the double cleansing method, this works great second cleanser (after an oil cleanser), as it removes much of the residue that's left over from wearing make-up and sunscreen. The formulation is thick and creamy and lathers quite elegantly on the skin.

I reach for this cleanser quite a bit; however, I do not think I will repurchase. I notice that it strings around my eyes, and I am NOT a big fan of the fragrance it contains (fragrance is cool and all, but I'd rather it not be in my skincare). I have combination skin, and I find that it leaves my skin feeling quite dry.
All in all, I rate this product a 3.5/5. It does its job well, and I enjoy using it - but I likely won't be purchasing again.
